USAF T1 JAYHAWK

USAF T1 JAYHAWK

Description

Model of a military T1 Jayhawk used to train students at Undergraduate Pilot training. This tail belongs to the 48 Flight Training Squadron (the Alleycats) at Columbus AFB MS. Added a model w/out a tail number on it for use at other bases as well. Printing tips: The engines can be printed with a brim if they start to lift Use a wall count of at least 4 on the wing Parts are designed for a friction fit - no glue is required to assemble this model. Due to variability between printers it may be required to scale parts 1%-3% to get the right fit. I found the best luck sanding down parts that were slightly too large. Once assembled glue may be used as required. If mounting to a Stick model stand - drill holes as required for a tight fit (holes purposely modeled slightly small) Update History: 14 Dec: Corrected scale of fuselage pin (had to grow it 11%) and reduced length by 5%
