Poor man's 4th Axis Gimbal Stabilizer Pro 2

Poor man's 4th Axis Gimbal Stabilizer Pro 2

Description

This is basically Scotty's 4th Axis Gimbal Stabilizer - Pro 2 Model, but with changes, that makes it much easier to create. ## Features * Only **one type of bearings** - the cheapest ones, used for 3D printers * **No** need to **insert** nuts **during prints** - you can slide them in when its completed * One type of screws - with different length (just buy threaded bar with some cap nuts) ## Shopping list I had troubles finding the right length of M5 screws scotty used (cuz he used M6 ones). So I just used Threaded bar and cut it into rights lengths. * **18x** Bearing 5x16x5 (about $0.2 piece) * Lithium (or any different, really. It should be thick thou) grease * **20x** M5 Locknuts * **20x** M5 Capnuts * **1x** M5 threaded bar * **2x** 1/4"-20 Threaded Screw (it CAN be printed! Search through thingiverse) * Two part epoxy, to glue capnuts on the bar ## Instructions for print Print everything you find in the batch. This will make you half of the stabilizer, to get another one, print these filles mirrored. ### Mirrored * bottom-arm * spring-adjust-left * upper-arm and print dampeners and bolt runner once more, so you have total of two sets. ### Two of each needed * **2x** dampener-dynamic * **2x** 4Ar2_DampenerStaticV12 * **2x** bolt-runner ## Skipped I skipped some parts from original design, because I didnt need them. For example nut covers (can be bought, or search through thingiverse for M5 screw knob) are not included.
