Ai3MS Printhead Hotend cable strain relief

Ai3MS Printhead Hotend cable strain relief

Description

#Anycubic i3 Mega S printhead cable strain-relief I designed this because I did not find a **simple cable strain-relief** for the ***Anycubic i3 Mega S*** that didn't require an elaborate print. Also, I **route my cable** via the **front** instead of under the arch where it might pinch. in addition, I also gain a few millimeters in clearance when done this way. This is a simple and lightweight design that is sturdy. It serves its purpose without faff nor adding too much weight to your printhead. **No extra hardware** to needed besides cable ties. It's a **clip-on design** that uses friction and a tight fit to hold it in place. Also it is **printed without supports** needed. Orient this so it prints on its back. ### **INSTALLATION:** 1. **Remove your print head cover** that holds the fans; this will be the two M3 screws on the top front, and another two M3 screws on the back near the bottom ball bearings. 2. **Unplug your fans**; paying attention to which plug each fan goes back into. 3. **Unscrew the three M3 bolts** holding the **breakout board** where the cable plugs into. 4. Lower the breakout board with the cable so you have enough space to **clip the strain relief mount** on. Push the mount all the way forward. 5. Push your cable back up and **re-assemble** everything in the reverse order that you removed them. 6. **Zip-tie the cable** through the zip-tie holes provided to secure and strain-relief the cable. ### Thanks for looking and using this! ### If you like my design, and are feeling generous, feel free to leave me a ***tip***! ### Check my page out for ***more designs*** as I continue to create stuffs! # Happy **3D-ing!**
