Stable Folding Banjo Stand

Stable Folding Banjo Stand

Description

Stable Folding Banjo Stand This banjo stand is based on the “Stable Stand” by Gil Ogawa. It is a very stable folding banjo stand. Note: V2 adds magnets that help to keep the stand open when folded open, and closed when folded closed. The magnets are 10 mm diameter x 3 mm thick. Magnets are optional and can be added later. The stand is printed with PETG, and the cushions are printed with TPU. In addition to printed parts, you will need the following: • Epoxy for plastic parts • Clamps to clamp parts when gluing with epoxy • 3 mm thick x 10 mm diameter magnets – quantity 6 • 1/4"-20 x 1” flathead screws – quantity 2 • 1/4" -20 nylon insert locking nuts – quantity 2 • #10 -24 x 1” flathead screw – quantity 1 • #10 -24 x 1.25” flathead screws – quantity 2 • #10 - 24 x 2” flathead screw – 1 • #10 – 24 nylon insert locking nuts – quantity 4 The magnets index the banjo stand in the open and in the folded position. Magnets, when used, can be glued into the top part and rear leg on each side. You don’t have to glue (epoxy) the magnets into the parts. WARNING!!! If you use magnets, make sure that the magnets ATTRACT with the top part and rear leg in the open and folded positions. The front and rear legs are in two parts and are glued with epoxy. The top parts each have a tab that is glued in.
