Ender 3 V2 Squash ball Feet

Ender 3 V2 Squash ball Feet

Description

Took my remix and added a squash ball version, using a 40mm diameter Yellow Double Dot Sqaush Balls (most left model in the 1st pic of three). I drew inspiration from Squash Ball Foot for CR-10 created by @tonystockert. You'll need the Foot Caps to complete the build (find them in the linked remix). It'll raise the bottom of Ender 3 V2 a full 50mm (2 inches) approximately off the floor or flat surface. Update 25/12/2020 - The above design did prove a little wobbly (most left model in image of three), especially if the printer was doing tight infill. The fix is to switch out the rectangle cups that fit over the standard rubber feet and swap them for a rail that inserts into frame of the printer. It does mean you lose the stock rubber feet. The rail insert is 40mm wide, same as the rail on the Ender 3 V2. The existing squash ball print fits onto the rail insert (middle model in the pic of three) and I use some double sided tape just for added convenience when moving the printer around (Printer height with this insert is 45mm). Bonus: I added a 40mm wide version of the Squash ball part to match the rail insert "Ender3_V2_FeetSquashBall_40mm.stl" Extra Bonus: Now a 3rd version "Ender3_V2_FeetSquashBall_RailInter.stl" with the rail fitment intergrated into the foot as one complete piece (the most right model in image of three) The height of the printer base reduces slightly to 40mm off the floor.
