Shimano Alfine 11 Right Dust Cap A tool (TL-AF10)
Description
This is a tool to remove the main drive side dust cap on the Shimano Alfine 11 internal gear hub. You may need to remove it to repair the hub, or more likely just to replace the dust cap if the seal on it is wearing out. This is similar to Shimano's TL-AF10 tool. The tool is a snug fit on the hub, make sure to press it down into the tabs. Shimano says to tighten the dust cap to 5-6 N-m. The dustcap is made of plastic, don't over tighten it. The threads on the dust cap are reversed, so counter-clockwise tightens it, clockwise loosens it.
