Moon Lamp screw base ONLY (USB powered LED strip version)
Description
I designed a new base for the (fantastic) "Progressive Detail Moon Lamp with Rechargeable Moon station" model by moononournation so that the lamp would work with stuff that I already had lying around. This .stl file is the BASE ONLY, you should download the "moon" file from the original thing https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3444020 The base screws in quite easily and is designed to fit an MT3608 DC-DC boost converter and a 15 x 10 mm rocker switch, so that you can power any 12 V LED strip. The strip can be wrapped around the top cylinder. I have used 30 cm of 5630 cold white LED strip, but you can get away with 15 to 20 cm. I had to downvolt it to 10.2 V because it was getting a little hot, but it is still PLENTY bright.
