Grandpa's Fort
Description
This is to print a variety of plastics connectors that you insert into various lengths of 1/2 inch plastic Pex tubing in order to build a children's fort or whatever you can think off. The instructions are included in the PDF document "Grandpa's Fort". When printing, ensure that the walls are at least 4 layers, otherwise the joints may break when a lot of stress are put on them. Make sure you lay the part flat on the bed to print. Support is only required for legs that are above and parallel to the surface of the bed. You don't need to print every connector to build the fort, just the ones listed in the "Fort Inventory". The "Ball", which is based on 3 octagons, takes about 4 hours to print. I have provided the FreeCad file. If you adjust the inside diameter parameter in the spreadsheet you can resize all the connectors for pretty much any diameter.
