spiromatic (laser cut spirograph-like hypotrochoid kit)

Description

cut order is YELLOW, RED, GREEN, BLUE, BLACK, MAGENTA so that parts are cut from inside to outside (to avoid cut pieces dropping through & misaligning). if you're using something like Visicut that lets you optimize to inner first, you can ignore this :) on my Full Spectrum Hobby laser, i used 60 speed/50 power on the YELLOW (optional text) cuts and 28 speed/82 power for the rest of the cuts (all the way through). i used 1/8" acrylic. the font is CMU Concrete Italic if you'd like to modify the text. suggestions for weird gears welcome
