Anet A6 LED light bar
Description
LED light bar for the Anet A6 3D printer. Various LED Brackets with different angles are available. The greater the angle the more light is send to the print nozzle but can also blind you more. I preferred the 20 degree brackets. Existing bolts are used for mounting the brackets. The U-Style LED bar needs must be cut to a length of 292mm. About 280mm of LED strip is needed which is fixed with selfathesive tape. I ordered the white color LED strip. With the motor speed controller the LED lights can be dimmed and turned off. The additional controller housing with cutout is compatible with the Anet A6 X-axis belt tensioner mod: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3713816 With thin wires soldered on the LED strip, the wiring can be led through existing holes above two M3 bolts when these are shortened or replaced by m3x16 bolts. I recommend to use a separate 12v power supply 1A or greater. When connected to the printer power supply, the led lights will flicker along with the on off state of the nozzle and bed heating. The parts were printed with PETG filament and 0.2 layer height was used. The designed print support can be easily removed with a flat head screwdriver.
