OneStep+ Filter Head -- 49mm Lens Thread Attachment

This is a 49mm filter thread attachment for the Polaroid OneStep+, allowing the use of lens filters, macro lenses, and other kinds of lens attachments, to extend the capabilities of the camera. Macro lenses, telephoto adapters, fisheye, starburst, B&W color filters, you name it, if you can screw it into a 49mm mount you can use it. The model is designed for the OneStep+, compatibility with the OneStep 2 is probable, but untested. As far as I know the two cameras use the same physical body design. On the other hand though, **this model is NOT compatible with the Polaroid Now.** # Important: this is not a standalone print, it requires a 46-49mm step-up ring. The build consists of two parts: a 3D-printed body and a 46-49mm step-up ring, attached permanently. (I used standard blue Loctite 243, that way it's solid enough that it sits on there but the ring can still be salvaged should the plastic part break.) The reason for the step-up ring is it gives it a simple and easy to use metal thread instead of having to fiddle with the 3D-printed plastic thread all the time. I guess if you wanted to use this as a standalone you could just use 46mm lens attachments for it (the plastic part does have a standard 46mm thread) but you're going to end up messing a lot with it. You can find these rings in the $5 range from most DSLR places, it's worth it. Notably, the 49mm mount matches that of the Lomo'Instant Wide, allowing access to all its accessories. You can use Lomo's excellent splitzer design on a Polaroid this way. The print is also designed in a way to clear the controls on the top of the OneStep+. **ABS plastic or stronger recommended. This model has not been tested with PLA.** It seems like it's stretching the limits of ABS considerably less than my previous designs, so you might actually have luck with PLA, but still, try that one at your own risk.
