69mm pvp pipe feeder
Description
This object was made in Tinkercad. Edit it online https://www.tinkercad.com/things/9ij3p4Ss6N6 I modified an existing design (see link at bottom) and tailored a few things to fit a 67mm pvc pipe. 1 - Decreased the pipe holding sleeve from 4" to approx 68mm. A 67mm standard drain pipe will fit in this quite easily. 2 - Removed a chunk of the rear bottom cup to save on PLA. This will require supports, but saves a bit of material. 3 - Added a small baffle stub to the bottom middle of the cup. This encourages layer pellets to collect, reducing the chance of overflowing. To be honest, this possibly isn't needed as the design itself slowed pellets down enough, as well as the cup being approx 1mm higher than the top of the opening. IMPORTANT NOTES: The small holes are for a guide only. Do not attempt to screw through these as the PLA will crack. If you're using (suggested) M8X 5/8 or 1/2" PZ screws, slowly drill out the guide holes big enough to accept the screw, yet small enough not to allow the head through. Insert the PVC pipe, and drill small holes (approx 2mm) through the newly made screw holes, and into the PVC pipe. Screw-in screws. A minimum number of screws to accept 3kg+ of feed is 4, but there are 6 holes, so may as well use all 6! The original design I modified is below. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3911033/comments
