Bruder Fire Truck Ladder Pin
Description
This is a piece that I designed to repair the Bruder (02821 Mack Granite Fire Engine) fire truck ladder. There is a small pin inside the tallest ladder that holds on to a cord. The one on my son's truck had broke. He is pretty careful with his toys and the original part looked like it would be susceptible to breakage. Anyways, I designed this part as a replacement. It worked really well. I printed it with a brim. To install: 1) Retract the ladder all the way in 2) Place the clip underneath the cord where it will line up with the hole 3) Pull the top ladder piece out 4) Extend the ladder where the printed clip is halfway up the cord 5) Without sliding the ladder piece back in, put the pin into the hole securely 6) Now the ladder piece is just holding on with the pin and cord 7) Notice the little grooves where the ladder section clips into the middle ladder 8) Set the section in the stack and press it in one side at a time, it will click in place Any questions just message me.
