Compact Creality CR6 CR-6 SE Z-Stop Cover
Description
See my make for more photos. This thing was inspired by this thing https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4688169 but I made it all from scratch and it's quite different. It's only 38mm by 28mm as that's the only space I had behind this drawer for my z-stop cover. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4707194 I decided to print the v-slot covers separately as I didn't think they would come out well using supports and any other orientation would mean the slots wouldn't work. I put Gorilla glue on the feet, then put them into the extrusion v-slots - then placed the base plate on top while the glue set. I made sure to slide it to a different position on the extrusion after about 30 minutes to ensure that they didn't get glued into place. Now it slides along the extrusion nicely and can be removed if needed and the feet are lined up exactly where they need to go. Mine clips in place on the base and onto the z-sensor bracket and is held in place by the drawer - but if you print and it's too loose - you could use some blue-tack or double-sided tape to hold the two pieces together - or just increase your filament flow by 5-10% to make the base and/or top thicker. I left a 0.2mm tolerance gap. It needs to be printed in the orientation shown as supports won't work for the lip. I put a load of support blockers in to stop it making supports for the chamfered outsides. The cable and connector fit into this nicely and it doesn't stick out any more than it needs to or go any higher up than needed.
