Airbrush Cyclone adapted for a Mason Jar

Airbrush Cyclone adapted for a Mason Jar

Description

I just got an airbrush and found a number of airbrush cleaner pot Things here, but they were all variants on the same general design. I have a cyclone dust separator for my woodwork and was tossing around the idea of making one for an airbrush cleaner then I stumbled onto loonix23's design. I immediately printed it out and found out that I didn't fit in any jar I had. Also the cyclone part fit very loosely into the cover section. Fortunately, the original creator included the OpenSCAD file. I was able to alter the code to create a bottom section that would fit a Mason jar. While I was at it, I tightened up the fit between the cyclone and the bottom section so now it will stay in place through friction. I also increased the $fn number to make everything smooth. I set it at 200 and it looks really good. The tradeoff is the rendering time is long. If you use the .STL files, this won't matter to you at all. It only comes into play if you want to modify the OpenSCAD file. Look for the custom constant "FN" at the beginning of the code. I've included a model with the two parts put together, I don't recommend printing that one. If you print in two parts, no supports should be required since you can print the cyclone part upside down.
