Customizable Outside Faucet (Hose Spigot) Freeze Cover
Description
My customizable version of an outside faucet (hose spigot) cover for freeze protection. Note that it's critical to customize/configure the handle_protrusion (furthest point from the wall) in the SCAD file. It should be set 1-2 mm shorter if you're going to put foam tape between the cover and your outside wall. To attach, slide the cover on and the inside ridge drops down over the handle to attach (no rubber bands/etc needed). To remove, just lift it up and pull. Yes, printing this will cost about as much in filament as it would cost to purchase a cover from the store, but I wasn't happy with the attachment mechanisms of the ones at the store.
