Dice Master STL w/ PreSupported Chitubox File (Charm)
Description
This is a standard set of sharp-edged dice masters for use in making silicone dice molds. This is an STL file pack that comes with an STL file for each individual die, as well as a pre-supported chitubox file with one d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d100 and two d20s. All pre-supported files have been tested using an Elegoo Mars 2 Pro and have been found to print satisfactorily. FDM printers are not recommended for printing dice masters. Support removal is recommended to be done before curing under a UV light by soaking the dice in hot tap water after cleaning, and gently pulling supports off. Residual supports can be trimmed away using small detail cutters, although it's easier to sand away extra support marks than spots you chipped away the edge of the die removing them! :) And remember: Support mileage may vary depending on the printer! If the print fails to adhere to the build plate, you can always add more. The D12 will probably be the most finicky, so if it fails for you I would add some heavy supports to your supports--that way removal is still easy, but it's got some added stability. ;) Happy printing! ***Please remember that inking thin fonts is more difficult! :) You may want to test inking on a printed set before sanding and molding to ensure you are confident in your inking skills!
