Adjustable optical endstop for Anycubic i3 Mega
Description
This is an adjustable optical endstop system for the (my) Anycubic i3 mega. The optical enstops are from Geeetech (I thing I bought them from Ali) but I also saw similar from other manufacturers. So this might fit, too. Before you start unmounting the old endstops be advised that you will also need to add some new wires for the optical endstops (this includes crimping some JST plugs). Moreover you will need to modify and rebuild the Marlin firmware for your i3 mega. So, everything that needs to be done is on your own risk. Please only thy this if you really know what you are doing. Without working z-endstops your 3d printer will not be usable anymore. I had the opportunity to print the parts with a different 3d printer. Since I realized that there are “manufacturing tolerance” this really helped me finishing the work. For this reason you may also need too “align” the adjustment part.
