Insteon Hub 19" 1U Rackmount Adapter
Description
19" 1U rackmount for Insteon Hub with front-mounted ethernet jack. The status light on the Insteon Hub can be seen through the cutout above the "O" in Insteon. I've also had success filling in the lettering with paint, nail polish, etc instead of printing and glueing in the lettering. This design can be printed on a bed as small as the Ender 3 / Ender 5 (220x220mm) if each half is placed diagonally across the bed. I had to reduce my skirt to just 5mm from the part to get this to work. **Assembly:** Two front halves slide together via dovetail and can either be secured with two M3x16 button head or similar screws. The right side has clearance holes for the screws, and the left side is slightly undersized for the threads to grab. The two pieces can also simply be glued together. If doing so, I would suggest clamping the two halves to pull the center seam closed. The right side accepts an ethernet keystone jack (I use a pass-through style jack and a 1ft ethernet cable to get to the back of the Insteon Hub). The Insteon Hub slides in from the rear on the left side and is retained by a snap-on back bracket.
