Igus Drylin Flanged Bearing Block

Igus Drylin Flanged Bearing Block

Description

I needed a proper holder (not to tight not to loose), after about 30 prints and constant micro millimeter adjustments in Fusion I got it right. Be aware your filiment and printer (as well as its calibrated) will changed the dimensions ever so slightly. To adjust for this first test by printing one out inserting the Igus bearing into holder then sliding it on a STRAIGHT smooth chrome 8mm rail. If you have a cheap chinese rail your rail may be off spec, dont blame Igus. And people who complain about the larger ID size (larger than 8mm) its supposed to be as a proper sized bearing block squeezes it down very slightly making it a perfect 8mm. Mine have 0 play and slide like crazy. If too tight/loose adjust with the horizontal expansion (in very small amounts till correct) setting in Cura. Print it upright the big flat area on the bed. You can also change to slicing method from middle to inclusive or exclusive if too tight or too loose. These work great. Never use any kind of lubricant on a Igus Drylin it releases its own through the Polymer and that will ruin it.
