25°(ish) tilt Jar (Ø74mm x 120mm) Rack for Seperation and Settling
Description
Ok So Now Proving The Principle Of Strip Mining, I Decided It'S Time To Upscale The Operation And Upscale The Design. Where As Before I Was Using An Anchovy Jar I'Ve Decided To Use An "Uncle Ben'S Sweet And Sour" Jar. This Has A 74 Millimetre Diameter Main Body And A 54 Millimetre Diameter Base. The Height Is Approximately 120Mm. Before I Was Using The Jars For The Anchovies And I Was Doing The Rack At 45 Degrees. I'Ve Decided That'S A Bit Impractical For This Job This Size So I Did A Quick Sketch And Basically Took A Line Which I Decided Should Be Parallel Between The Top Points Of The Base Rack. This Was A Long Build Took About 6 Hours And I Think It Highlights A Problem With Slicer 3 And My Reprap Clone. This Seems To Be The Axis Scaling, I Think There Is A Mm Or So Drop Between The Top Point Of The Jaw And The Bottom Point Which Effectively Makes The Angles Not 90 Degrees. I'M A Bit Disappointed With This And It'S Only Really Show Itself Up On This Model So Far As You Can See With The Method I'M Trying To Get Everyone To Use For Printing 90 Degree Pipe Work At 45 Degrees To The Build Platform This Would Exasperate The Problem And Make It Known Round Non Round. I'Ve Voice Typed This And It'S Gonna Need A Hella Lot Editing To Make This Publishable. This Is Part Of My New Years Resolution Of 1 Design Per Day Going Onto An Open Source Website. So Far This Is Only Been In Thingiverse, I'M Thinking Of Other Websites Because I Am Realising There Are Problems With Document Management Systems On Thingiverse. I Would Like A Little Bit More Knowledge Capture I Wonder If Someone From Thingiverse Would Care To Comment On This (Below?) And Possibly Talk To Me About What We Need Here. So Far New Years Resolution Is Going Well I'M Printing Things I Need And Letting Other People Have Copies Of Them. I Know There Isn'T An Airplane On Here So Far And I Know There Are The Clichéd Hooks That Everyone Seems To Print On 3D Printers. But These Are Specific Hooks For Aluminium Slot Section Beams. They Are Actually Being Used At My Place Of Work At This Moment.# This Was Designed From Scratch, But Based On: Http://Www.Thingiverse.Com/Thing:621728 45° Spice Rack For Ø45Mm Jar Settling And Http://Www.Thingiverse.Com/Thing:623002 45° Spice Rack For Square Csec 45Mm Jar Settling 25°(Ish) Tilt Jar (Ø74Mm X 120Mm) Rack For Seperation And Settling Robotics Bath Robotic By Eur Ing Andy Southern.
