Door stop with external skin
Description
I've modified my previous door stop design further to allow an outer soft flexible skin to be added over the main body. The printed product was a good fit. Dimensions for this door step are larger than my previous design (to match my own specific needs): 11.8cm long x 3.5cm wide x 3.3cm high. Dimensions can be re-adjusted via Slicer scaling options to suit your requirement. The outer skin is recommended to be printed with TPU filament, and the internal part can be printed with typical hard materials like PLA / PET / ABS. The bottom side of external skin has about 3mm wide inner skirt to allow the internal part to tuck in securely. 100% infill for the outer skin, with the top side of skin part laid flat. Supports will be needed for the inner skirts. Adjust the support angle to ensure. 25% - 100% infill for the internal part, depending on your required hardness.
