Large Wash Box Impeller and Mount for SLA Resin Printers
Description
Hello, For users who have a larger-format SLA printer, you'll find that, as of todays date, there really aren't too many options for "wash and cure" stations that will fit a large build plate, even when manufactured by the same vendor that supplies the printer (Looking at you Elegoo & Anycubic). To solve this problem, I sourced a larger, sealing bin from Amazon, but I needed a mount and impeller design that could be mounted in the bottom of the bin. This is that. To use this, you will need: - To do so at entirely your own risk, as IPA is a volatile solvent - A sealing bin with latch lid that is made of PolyPropylene (PP) plastic - Some PolyPropylene Filament to print these objects - 1 x 625ZZ double sealed bearing - 1 x M5 Heat Set Insert - 1 x M5 Lock Washer - 4 x M3 Heat Set Inserts (2 to secure the bearing, 2 to secure the magnets to the impeller) - 2 x M4 Washers (For securing the bearing in place) - 2 x 18mm Epoxy Coated Neodymium Magnets with 3mm countersunk through hole - 1 x M5x10 Stainless Steel Button Head Cap Screw - 2 x M3x6 Stainless Steel Button Head Cap Screws (to secure the bearing in - combine with 2 x oversized M4 washers) - 2 x M3x6 Stainless Steel Flat Head Cap Screws (for the magnets) - Ability to heat-set those heat set inserts into the polypropylene - 3M 300LSE adhesive tape (to attach the impeller mount point to the bottom of your bin) Happy printing!
