Shell Alignment Mod for Taccom 12S4
Description
This is a shell alignment tool for the TacCom 12S4 shell holder. The problem this solves is that it's easy for shells to become misaligned in the caddy, which impacts your hold on them when you remove them for deuce or quad loading. You'll need 3x M3x16 bolts with 3x M3 nuts. No support needed and no adhesion. To attach to your 12S4, simply pop off the side that you want to attach this to (can be brass end or crimped end). Run your M3 bolts through the printed piece and use that to mark where you want the holes to go on the 12S4 side. On mine, I just squared up the ends, stood the 12S4 side clip side down on a flat surface, and then slide the alignment tool up next to it. Mark the bolt locations with a pencil, and then drill them out with a 1/8 bit. Use a press if you have one - I have a little Dremel press that worked great. Once the holes are drilled, reattach the 12S4 side back on it's frame, and then attach this alignment tool through the drilled out holes, putting the nut on the inside of the caddy.
