Ender 3 tool organizer (bespoke)

Ender 3 tool organizer (bespoke)

Description

2/17/20- There is now a highly theoretical XTREME version. It's Bespoke squared. It's 2 Bespoke 2 useful. Look, I realize that this may just be for me, but as I have continued to print, myneeds have evolved and my tool kit has shifted. New additions include a micro ratchet that I have used to remove and replace nozzle heads- this thing has been amazing and has changed how I interact with changing nozzle sizes. Don't let the harbor freight link fool you, this tool is great. https://www.harborfreight.com/8-piece-right-angle-screwdriver-92630.html?cid=paid_google|||92630&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=&utm_content=&gclid=CjwKCAiAmrOBBhA0EiwArn3mfLDkb3FsvDD-1ck8WbKf6QhHIoCfPgG0In4y7YKC9GDnq0G6hqjwdBoCd9EQAvD_BwE I paired that with a 1/4 inch ratchet adapter and a 6mm socket. I have a 7mm socket because I know that some brands of nozzle use that, but I have yet to come across one. No links for those because I had them on hand and were not part of a set. This now has a place of honor in front along with two prongs to hold the sockets. The scraper slot has been slightly beveled and widened to prevent sticking or misalignment. Lastly I have removed the wildcard hole on the back and replaced it with an angled slot for another scraper, a generic single-blade razor holder that has been useful for fine detail work or prints that are very on the bed. I picked it up on a whim in the "tool section" of a grocery store. It's been a best friend since. AGAIN! THEORETICAL! Can the STL for the Tool Holder Mark 3XTREME work? I will find out. Friction back extended and front extended with now 2 spots for M4 bolts and M4 T-nuts. Reminder- V2 M4 and FF appear to be final and stable, and more for the stock ender tools if you're not ready to take the Mark 3XTREME plunge yet.Which no one has. Not even me. -------------------- Update 1/16/20 - The M4 version is final. I have tested it after a couple of minor adjustments and all the allen wrenches clear the PSU now. The friction fit version is almost identical, so if you make that one, lemme know. After multiple tool holder/organizers, I have designed a tool caddy that works for my specific needs, and I think it might for others as well. Inspired by the Ender 3 Tool Holder by Mattwall https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3877505 and the design of the Ender 3 Tool holder by danndw94, these two pieces have been smashed together in a creative train wreck of usefulness. I liked the utilitarian use of of Mattwall's piece and the design of danndw94's, but have found things left out or lacking for my needs. This holder is for the base Ender 3, and is designed so the tools aren't competing for space with the PSU cover. The holder holds: -All the allen wrenches -Both Ikea-esque wrenches -Scraper -Nippers -MicroSD shuttle The holder does away with: -Nozzle cleaner -The provided screwdriver The holder adds: -Hook for deburring tool This one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RM1D6WD/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Which I drilled a hole and added a paracord loop to -A hole for an x-acto knife -A hole for a pair of tweezers -WILDCARD HOLE! Pen? pencil? More tweezers? Go hog wild, man. - Two spaces for upgraded micro screwdrivers, flat and phillips Specifically this set: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08BZ8838J/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 There are two versions: A friction fit (FF) that uses extreme tolerances to slot into the 20x20 extrusion and a hardware version (M4) that splits the difference and is half extrusion slot on the back and the front uses an M4 bolt and T-nut for added security.
