CR10 V2 Filament Guide / Dry Box Adapter
Description
A solid attachment point for PTFE tube to the Creality CR10-v2. There is already a gap under the filament sensor, I utilized that to make this mount, requiring zero modifications to the printer. You can use this to create a better angle on the filament coming into the printer by using a short piece of PTFE (as pictured) or you can use it to attach your printer to a filament dry box (my future plans). The dimensions are tight, you might need to clean the holes out a bit to get everything to fit. I now have 3 versions: Friction Fit; Takes standard 4mm OD PTFE tube Threaded; M6 threaded for push connect. Threaded with step; to accommodate the profile of the push connects I have laying around, this style is popular on Amazon. (the step is to take some of the connectors body and should make it stronger.) For the threaded versions I recommend printing at 0.10 layer height. This should help the threads come out clean. To speed up printing you can print only the threaded section at 0.10 with adaptive layer height or Simplify 3D's "Variable Settings Wizard" (threads start at 8.10mm).
