Filament Top Guide with Pulley for Ender 3
Description
I consider the E3 Filament Roller Guide by Holspeed as a necessity for my Ender 3 Pro. I liked the 2020 / E3 Filament Guide by Filboyt but I wanted one which also uses a pulley roller so I remesh-mashed those two together. I know I'm not the first to do this. I looked and easily found a few others. However, I proceeded to make my own for several reasons.

The other guides I found didn't seem to line up the angle of the pulley with the output of the filament roll

They didn't have a retainer to always keep the filament on the roller

I wanted to make the arm really strong while hollowing it to use less material. Some others didn't do this.

Attribution

2020 / E3 Filament Guide by Filboyt Thank you, Filboyt.

Thingiverse won't let me add E3 Filament Roller Guide by Holspeed as a second remix source. It says 0 Results for "E3 Filament Roller Guide" regardless of how I try to search for it. I just wanted to make it clear that I did use Holspeed's bracket for this, at least for measurements and I am repurposing their spacers and rings. Thank you, Holspeed.

Instructions Also shamelessly borrowed from Holspeed, as they are just as applicable, here. You will need to print: 1 - bracket, 1 - end cap, 1 - ring - (print ring.stl first, if it isn't tight enough then ring-sm.stl is slightly smaller inside). 2 - spacers Plus you will need: 1 - 608 bearing (probably the most commonly available bearing, used for skateboard wheels and other things). 1 - M4 x 16mm bolt (Spare part with my Ender 3, hopefully yours too. If, like me, you used yours on something else, like the bottom bracket, you will need to find a similar sized / threaded replacement) The bracket has an embossed arrow for which side is up, once printed, but all parts should be printed, as orientated in the STLs. If your printer hates to bridge, Print end cap with support lines at 1.8mm apart (5 lines total under roof) only touching build plate.
