Olimexino 32U4 simple case open from top
Description
This simple case is opened from top and is designed for Olimexino-32U4 rev.A https://www.olimex.com/Products/Duino/AVR/OLIMEXINO-32U4/open-source-hardware PCB is screwed to 4 spacers using M3x4 screws. ( 4mm length) Top left hole on Olimexino won't fit regular rounded head on phillips screw. This version makes accessible these connectors on left: USB port, logic voltage pinheader, battery connector, DC jack On right, UEXT connector is accessible. ICSP header cannot be accessible from side. How to print: You can use test object with mounting hole to check if your screw fits and cuts into hole. set enableTestHole=true; to export this model If your screws don't fit because screw hole is too small, increase spacerHoleDiameter by 0.1 to 0.2. If your screws don't cut into holes, decrease this value. If you want higher case, increase UsableSpaceZ value. Or if you want to lower walls decrease it. How to modify: Open locally in OpenSCAD and change enableVisualisation=false; to true to see if your case fits the PCB and parts I have exported PCB and parts to .stl 3D model to design this case. I'm uploading those models with this case design. PCB design belongs to Olimex, I don't have rights for it. Models are not mine.
