Artillery Sidewinder X1 side fillament guide input adapter - With slot for fillament sensor
Description
Made a little adapter so you can put the filament spool on your desk or somewhere else This improves on the Z wobble since, without the weight on the top, the printer moves less. Also, there is a slot for the filament sensor that comes with the printer to be put in place so you don't lose that functionality this is NOT a Bowden extrusion adaptor You will need a bit of PTFE tube to guide it and that is all Optionally if it doesn't get fixed well enough on its own, you can put some M2 screws and nuts to fasten it. If you want to use the fillament sensor, you will have to make an extension on the wires and leave it loos so it moves freely up and down with the X carriage There are 2 versions of it, one plain and another that is compatible with these modular mountig systems for phone and such, as shown in the picture: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2194278 Remember to add a bit of a taper on the inside of your PTFE tube, so that it makes it easier for the filament to slide in, easily done with a metal drill bit After all, this is done, you might want a good simple filament stand: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4729436 Uses only hardware that comes with the printer
