Ender 3V2 Satsana Duct with 40x40x10/20 Part Cooling Fan with metal CRtouch/BLtouch bracket
Description
I moved on and created my own duct design (called Solar Orbiter) similar to this in the sense that it uses two normal fans, so this will not be updated. Check out my new duct design: ###https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4807645 Solar Orbiter Duct has the following features and advantages over this: - ender 3/pro/v2 compatibility - version with or without printed bltouch mount ( + bltouch cable routing) - hotend option: stock, dragonfly BMO, dragon, V6 - Bowden or with Orbiter direct drive extruder ------- file: satsana_dual_axial_fan_metal_bltouch.stl Use slicer to lay the duct on it's back side facing down This is a remix of a remix of the Satsana Fan Duct by eric-anastas which was remixed for dual 40x40x20/40 fan by Doityourselfgadgets. This is a small edit, to keep using the Creality metal bracket for BLtouch on Ender 3 v2 [As seen here](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08MD3ZJTD/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) Which will sit between the X axis mounting metal plate and the Satsana Fan Duct, so no firmware edit needed as it is sitting in it's meant location, so bltouch X-Y offset remain unchanged. Supports were only 2g and I didn't want to gamble how good my machine does overhang, so this was not a negative for me, but if you don't want support, this might not work without them since we have flying edge, and corners. support spec in Cura: "Support overhang angle" set to 88 degree for smallest amount of support and 10% Gyroid, and touching built plate only I included the blender file with the edit on the blower, and the boolean cut still editable, so you can change the thickness of the gap where the metal bltouch bracket would be. Rady for prime-time! Disregard my bad raft that I couldn't remove (tip: don't print with a raft, LOL) Even though it ended perfect (minus my raft), after my print I added a tiny bit more wiggle room on the STL and Blender file, as it was tight, in case there are small difference between brackets and bltouch. Finally make sure to redo your z-offset as a precaution. even though it's in the same place uninstalling it and reinstalling it the bltouch can move its relative position just enough to make a difference. ---- file: satsana_original_fan_metal_bltouch_bracket.stl (untested) Per request added a version using original fans remixed from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4647053 Use slicer to lay the duct on it's back side facing down
