MiniBrew dripping tray (click-on)
Description
I am a proud owner of a MiniBrew system. With this device you can make your own beers almost automatically. You can also use the keg, in which you make the beer, as a portable tap. Really useful and great on party's. While tapping beer straight from the keg I noticed some of the beer spoiled on the keg. And because I don't like unnecessary cleaning, I created this click-on dripping tray. It clicks on one post of the ball lock connector and follows the same cure as the smart keg. It does not get in the way of tapping beer, and it even has a slot for a label to identify the beer. Cleaning can be done with soap and warm (not too hot) water. Printing this unusual shape object is doable with the right settings. While designing I made sure to use minimal supports. I use Cura and shared my print settings below. Also check the pictures of the way the model is oriented. I added a second file, named 'Dripping tray with FC' which is 2 cm longer. This one can be used if you have a flow control added to you're tap. I will add photo's of this in action later. Good luck with printing and make sure to leave a make if you find them useful. A lot of work has gone in designing this so I would appreciate it a lot. Or even a small donation would make me very happy ;) To make them more durable, I am currently testing to prime and paint the inside of the dripping trays to make it more water/beer repellent. I also made a label holder to identify the kegs during the fermentation process.
