BTT Filament Sensor + Micro Swiss Direct Drive Extruder Mount
Description
This is an adjustable mount that will allow you to mount BTT Filament Smart Sensor over Micro Swiss direct drive extruder. You will need T-Nuts as well. This solution requires 3 parts to be combined together. Motor mounts and filament mount are joined by a V-Rail. To print the VRail use your favourite recipe or use this one https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:741325 In order to get it to the right size to fit the Tnuts I had to enlarge the entire object to 105% and then extened the length to 70mm. This is the lenght in the photos. The only reason for that was that the Tnuts wound not quite fit into the rail. To install the motor mount I found that starting with the right side was easier as the wheels and nuts on that side are tighter together with the motor body. I've used a piece of the original tubing to connect the sensor to the extruder, the blue tube that comes with the sensor was too short.
