Modified Z axis for Tops Heavy CNC
Description
Z Axis cart for Tops Heavy CNC build, there was always space behind the this cart which let the Z-axis move. I had added shims behind the cart but then I found someone had remade a longer cart for mare stability so I used this and add 3 shims to the back of the cart. The cart is now very stable and does not move at all. I was finally running 2mm DOC at 2000mpm at 16000rpm through an Ash Cookie. Printed at 5walls and 5 top and bottom. I sanded inside the bearing holes prior to pressing them in.
