LED Light for 2020 Aluminum Extrusion
Description
This LED mount uses 2 12V COB LEDs connected directly to the Ender 3 V@ 24V power supply. I have wired them in series but you're more than welcome to power however you see fit. The hardware used can be either M3 (Loose/Adjustable fit with washers/wing nuts) or M4 (Tight, non-adjustable fit). Each light has 4 heatsinks adhered to the back to help dissipate heat. The light base is attached to the 2020 aluminum extrusion with an M3/M4 T-Nut. I also made a small box that fits on the front of right right-side 4040 extrusion in order to toggle them on and off. The switch used was found at my local hardware store and should be a pretty standard size. If nothing else, it shows you the type of switch setup I used and gives you inspiration to create your own. ***I printed at 100% infill just because and only the COB_LED_Light_Bracket and 4040Box needs supports*** Everything used to construct these is linked below: Heatsinks: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07C3FNLF7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 T-Nuts: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PLKVW69/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 COB LEDs (10-Pack): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071FC3P5W/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 M3/M4 Hardware Kit: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CYGD9XK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 This is a remix from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:398515.
