Drip Pan for Hand Sanitizer
Description
Problem: Alcohol base hand sanitizer makes an awful mess on wax floors that doesn't go away with a simple mopping. Solution: Create something to catch the spilled sanitizer before it drips on the floor. Basic soap dish type design made to catch any falling hand sanitizer from automated dispensers. Holds up well, but I should have designed it where no supports were needed. I print with supports under the backplate which mounts the unit. I work in an elementary school so I went for 50% infill, but under normal conditions I'm sure about 20% would be fine (it's going to get bumped around no matter what). Dimensions are set to fit a "Automatic Hand Sanitizer Dispenser, Touchless Dispenser". These are plentiful on Amazon under many different brands. Use keyhole style mounts in case it does get busted, or if you need to remove it periodically for cleaning. I posted a the original fusion file as well as a step file. You are welcome to remix for your needs, or even make a better version that doesn't need supports!
