04/18/15 Edit Added File (1 The Perfect Water Spout With Threads Fixed) File. Some Slicers Will Add Some Solid Fill In The Air Vent On The Original File If That Happens Use The New File And You Should Be Fine. Be Sure To View Your Slices Before Starting Your Print To Ensure A Quality Print. I Have Printed This In Both Pla & Abs, Both Came Out Well. The Abs Also Held Up To The Acetone Vapor Treatment Well. Please Upload And Share Picks Of You Prints If Time Alows And Of Course Enjoy :) I Created This File After Thinking A Waterier For Soda Bottles Is A Good Economic Choice And A Great Way To Reuse Empty Soda Bottles. But After Printing One Of The Other Files On Thingiverse And Noticing That It Creates A Vacuum And Then Seeing That It Is A Common Problem With All Of Files On Here I Decided To Fix The Issue…And Here It Is:) …..Oh And I’M Trapped Inside With The Blizzard Outside Dumping Up To 3 Feet Of Snow:) This Thing Looks Similar To Most Of The Other Water Spouts On Here But With The Addition Of An Air Vent So That It Doesn’T Create A Vacuum Or Have The Need To Poke A Hole In The Bottom Of The Bottle (Pretty Much Making It A One-Time Use). I Did The Math On This To Optimize It For Water Flow (Basically The Amount Of Air Let Into The Bottle Is The Same As The Amount Of Water Let Into The Spout Head And The Watering Holes Also Equal To This Also) The Trick Is To Get The Water Coming Out The Holes Before It Comes Out The Air Vent. This Works Well If A 2 Liter Is Filed To About The Top Of The Label And Swiftly Tipped Over Or If There Is Less Water In The Bottle It Can Be Done Slower. This Has Worked Well For Me From My Tries I Also Added Supports To The Air Vent On The Inside To Make It Less Prone To Breaking. Hope You Enjoy!!!
