Neptune Systems Trident Mounting Bracket

Neptune Systems Trident Mounting Bracket

Description

A way to mount a Neptune Systems 'parallel' to the mounting surface. I used this under my stand, and mounted with #8 3/4" stainless steel screws. UPDATE: I added the 'right mounting' front and back pieces, and renamed the other pieces to 'right.' Since directions are relative I'll try and explain what I mean by right and left. If you look at the picture with the two tridents, the are mounted on the 'left side' of a piece of starboard that runs vertically 'front to back' in an aquarium side. The 'right mounting' files wound mount on the 'other side' of this same board. Another way to think about it...the 'right mount' would mount to the 'right outside end' of an aquarium stand, and the 'left mount' would mount to the 'left outside end' of an aquarium stand. It is not symmetrical from front to back but rather follows the curve of the Trident, so the trident can't be pushed back or pulled forward and must be lifted up past the little ledge to remove from the shelf. UPDATE: I added a 'single piece tray' STL file for folks with larger print volumes. The single tray part will need a print volume of Width 142.627 mm Height 60.00 mm Length 312.70 mm I also added a 'single piece complete' STL file. The print volume required is: Length 142.627 mm Width 185.00 mm Height 312.70 mm I haven't done a test print of the 'single piece complete' ... might be pretty gnarly with lots of support material required depending on printing orientation. Here are the print volumes need for the original 3 piece design. The two tray portions need a 156mm L, 143mm W, & 60mm H print volume each. The support needs a 135mm L, 125mm W, 120mm H print volume.
