EastWhoop - Printable 95mm drone frame
Description
I was tired to buy a new betafpv frame at every crash, so I decided to build my own 2 inches whoop frame. The purpose was to make the build as light as possible, but strong enough. My first version fits 98g without lipo (87g with betafpv85X frame) Working both in "pusher" and "puller" mode. Cam mount "pusher" is a bit smaller than classic version. This part can be redesigned to be lighter. I started from Freezillon Racewhoop design (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4608171) and made a lighter 2 inches version, replacing full ducts by lighter stuff. 24mm between the plates, 95mm motor to motor. Lipo strap holder is on the bottom plate and requires a 10mm large strap Caddx vista is stared on top plate (20x20), and FC on bottom plate (25.5x25.5 or 16x16) Still work in progress and crash-testing. I also printed this to hold caddx vista antenna: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4638027 and this standoff (increased to 5mm for vista separator and 3 or 4 mm for FC) https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2807615 Other parts used: M2 Screws, titanium to save weight: 10mm x 4 (FC) 12mm x2 (half Vista) 15mm x7 (bottom plate + cam mount + half Vista) 12mm x3 (top plate) Of course ou can use bigger screws (30mm) to stare ducts and plates together but I prefer with 2 screws. ------- News (04/02/2021) ------- - Added a cam mount with insta 360 SMO 4k support.
