Second cooling fan holder for the Creality CR-6 SE printer

Second cooling fan holder for the Creality CR-6 SE printer

Description

Inspired by https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4657232, which did not work very well, I'v created a holder for a second cooling fan for the Creality CR-6 SE. You can use a stock 40x40x10 cooling fan, a spare part from Creality or a replacement sold on Amazon, etc. Afaik the once sold for the Ender 3 are the same size. 24V 40x40x10mm Printed in two parts: - Easy to print, no support necessary - Easy to assemble (as long as the print is accurate) Assembling: Holder: - Push the rear bracket into the rear slot on the left hand side of the hot end cover - Place the other clip over the maintenance hole inside the front slot - slide the holder down Pipe: - Place one brake of the pipe in one edge from the hole in the holder, the other into the opposite one, diagonal on the other side - turn the pipe so that it fits into place - Easier to do than to describe it Push the fan into the holder. It hold without additional screw, but you may put some in. The diameter of the holes is 2mm. Create yourself a y cable so that both cooling fans can be connected to the board inside the hotend assembly. If you don't have a crimp tool you need to cut the wires and solder them together. If you like you may stick some tape onto the top of the pipe. this cover makes not much different IMHO. Finally: Don't expect wonders. Yes, there are situations were the second fan helps. But usually the stock one is fine.
