HT1621 7 segment LCD, SMALL case

HT1621 7 segment LCD, SMALL case

Description

A smaller, more symmetrical version of my other HT1621 lcd case, You need to desolder or cut the right angle header pins on the lcd module, and solder on some 6 core wire, as shown in the 2nd photo (i used 8 core lan/network cable, using 2 cores for the LED and 2 cores for the ground connection, as they will see the most current) There is a version of the case with no cable hole in it, for you to drill your own for the cable exit where you want, and a version with a hole in the base next to the mounting foot (and a version with the mounting foot and no cable hole) Just choose the version of the case you want, and also the back, as well as the mounting foot if needed, and print largest face down. Like the other case, it uses 4 x M3 x 16mm cap head allen bolts to secure the back on, which in turn secures the LCD's PCB in place. I just learnt to ensure no supports are placed in the cases screw threads, so watch that, prusa slicer 2.3.0 when told to put supports everywhere puts some in the threaded blind holes!! this blocks them up and is very hard to clear. i just use supports to ensure the hexagon and M4 cap head allen bolt hole in the foot comes out right, but supports are likely not needed at all.
