Working Trilogy shell for Single 1/2" CPVC Barrel
Description
Remix of Chicken Creation's mega shell (thing # 3768847) for a single 1/2" CPVC barrel. Note: A stock trilogy/shell strike may not actually be powerful enough to use this. I made this mainly intending to use it with my kMK18 (Trilogy shell firing knockout). CPVC should friction fit right into the shell. You must test your cpvc for dart fit before buying. Finally got around to doing a test print, as expected trilogy and shell strike don't have enough power. I also found that it was an absurdly tight fit getting the cpvc into the shell and required sanding. I also ended up causing damage to the shell hammering in the cpvc, so prob print with higher infil/walls then the other shells. 10% infil also wasn't enough to bridge the gaps in the top of the shell, which resulted in cosmetic imperfections. Radioactive's shells work ok in the shell strike (provided you've got the AR's removed and the spike in the middle removed) but don't do so well in the trilogy, they fail to eject more often and only work with the AR's removed. Okay did testing and for whatever reason these do need the AR's removed in the shell strike, even though they don't in the trilogy. Why? Beats me. Requires supports, doesn't need high infil. 20% should be fine. Will likely require re positioning in slicer, fusion is terrible about saving things in the correct orientation. Print vertical with the open cavity at the bottom. I've got a few other remixes coming for other common ammo types.
