Heatbed Glass Clip
Description
I was getting annoyed at having to raise the Z-axis before homing as it would hit the paper clips commonly used with this kind of setup. With these brackets, I only have to use a single clip at the front which is out of the way and still forces the heatbed against the glass. Insert 3mm nurls to the inside of the bracket. It is important that you include a washer between arms and bed corner screw. The force of the screw on top of the arms creates enough friction to hold it firmly in place when positioned. The screws pushing in from the side allows additional force to be applied against the glass if required. I have shown 2 configurations depending on your needs and glass/Heatbed size. My Heat bed is 214mmx214mm My Glass is 200mmx210mmx3mm My printer is a Geeetech I3 Pro W (Prusa i3 clone) Absolutely zero issues with heat from the heat bed when tested at temps 80 and below.
