The Thrash Metal: Aluminum RC Jet Boat with 3d printed skeleton
Description
Disclaimer: This is not a plagiat from MMF, I am the same designer... This project is about making your own RC Jet Boat (Hull) from sheet aluminum with the help of 3d printed templates and skeletons (sub-frames) and without a welder. It is pretty much the first prototype version so the built might be a little tricky. If you are interested, I made a video about how I made this boat, if you have any constructive questions, feel free to comment: https://youtu.be/qtKzEbLRp1c If you want to see this boat in action, I made a video of the first test drives: https://youtu.be/6HsITQVkxcU https://youtu.be/6sH30PpD04U The jet that I used is a TFL 29mm jet with the 4 bladed impeller, but you can also use any other jet or even put a prop in it if you like. I also included the fusion and step files, however, they might be a little messy, so please be careful if you want to change the geometry or anything. I designed the objects in a way that they do not necessairly need support with the right slicer settings, however, for some parts it could be beneficial, if you like pretty prints. The wall thickness I chose is 1.2mm with 10% infill with a .6mm nozzle and a 300x300x400 mm print volume (or bigger)
