Subaru Key Fob ['95-'01]
Description
My '00 Forester had an ancient keyless-entry fob [part no. GOH-M24, I believe] that was falling apart from age, so I made a replacement that fits the original PCB, rubber buttons, and battery. It's slightly more chunky but prints better than the sleek, curvy designs I tried at first. In the end, it works and the components fit quite nicely. I included a photo of my OEM fob so as to help with identification, if your fob doesn't look like the photo, it may not fit. This may also work for some other manufacturers that used the same design - I have seen used replacements of the GOH-M24 branded for Chrysler, Ford, Mitsubishi, and Volkswagen from similar year-ranges. I have not tested this design with anything other than my '00 Forester fob, so if you find that it works for another manufacturer, let me know and I will confirm it in the description. My printer can just barely print the 30-degree overhangs in this clear PETG, but it managed it. If my old clunker can do it, I'm certain just about any other printer can print it. No supports are required, you will need both halves - simply rotate so that they face into the bed, slice, and print! It should be straightforward to assemble. Tolerances may be different with better printers, feel free to let me know if you run into fitment issues and I will take note of it. If there is enough demand, I will consider feedback and perhaps make an improved version with better tolerances and a slimmer profile.
