Carrera 132/124 track to "my 1st Carrera" Adapter
Description
This connector will allow to connect a Carrera 132/124 track to a "my 1st Carrera" track. The adapter was inspired by the Carrera Go to 1st First Track Adapter by Russell1980. Due to my small printer (20X20 cm) I had to split the adapter in four parts. I guess this is convenient for most of you. In Cura the print was arranged diagonal to fit the baseplate. To mount the braid, I used "Rayher Hobby Double-Sided Tape 6 mm" and "Aerzetix 5 Meter Φ3-6 mm Shielded Braided Shielded Copper Case 24x5x0.15 mm". Both you can buy in any hardware store or on the internet. The method of gluing braid is commonly used to build wooden tracks. One basically sticks the tape into the rail and pushes the braid gently until it is even with the track. You might want to glue some copper tape on to of the braid, basically where the tracks connect for a better electrical connection, but also to prevent that your cars get caught by the braid.
