Telescope Tube Ring 90mm
Description
This project is inspired by jerahian's Orion ST-80 Telescope Clamshell. I also resized mggust's Thumb Screw Cap. All parts were printed with 3mm walls, tops and bottoms. The following parts comprise the ring and dovetail necessary to mount a telescope with a 90mm tube into a Vixen-style saddle: 90mm Tube Ring 90mm Tube Ring Dovetail Thumb Knobs (x2) 1/4x20 2 inch bolts (x2) The 1/4 inch bolts press fit into the mount side ring half. Insert the bolt, align the hex and spin on the thumb knob nut to draw the hex head into place. Replace the Dovetail ring component with either of the following parts to replace the OEM saddle on the Sky-Watcher AZ-GTi telescope mount: AZ-GTi 90mm Tube Ring AZ-GTi 90mm Tube Ring Offset The M4x10mm (x4) machine head screws may be re-used to attach the ring half, but I recommend using M4x12mm (x4) instead.
