Green Onion Growing Tray
Description
This was designed after the Green Onion Growing tray at https://www.hamama.com/products/green-onion-kit-1, for which they want to charge $50 + shipping. https://media.giphy.com/media/74cecRsJ8iRyCCx3J3/giphy.mp4 Tray is ~11.25" x 5.85" (I had originally made it 12.5" x 6.5" to duplicate the above commercial item, but to make it easier to fit onto the build plate, I had to reduce it by 10%) Edit 2/15/21: Tweaked tolerance between lid and base for easier fit, and lowered wall/base thickness to reduce material used. You will need some coconut matting. Amazon has it here (this can line the tray three times [after it finally gets too used to keep], just cut it to size): https://www.amazon.com/Hamiledyi-Coconut-Reptile-Substrate-Supplies/dp/B07L38PK63/ Simply fill with water to the Fill Line, add the coconut matting to the bottom, and add the white part of green onions [with roots] into the holes, and let them regrow. Trim and use as desired.
