Sewing- Machine Motor Mount and pulley counter-shaft for Watchmakers Lathe
Description
This is a handy package for using a sewing-machine motor (with foot speed control) with a watchmakers lathe. I chose to step the speed right down with a massive 120mm pulley - you can certainly get all the torque you need with this! The motor is ebay "nahmotor" YDK YM-261C-12 230v 50hz 120W 0.5A 7000rpm Something like https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/YDK-Nahmaschinenmotor-YDK-Motor-120-WAtt-Typ-YM-261C-12-komplett-Anbaumotor-/174229833173?hash=item2890e845d5 You need about 150mm of 8mm rod - silver steel would do but I got stainless intended for making 3D printers etc off amazon: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07T5SYYTZ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I used 2 deep groove ball bearings - the same size you use for skateboard wheels so very common: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00WXDAUQG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 And 2 lock collars https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08BLLHLBZ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 For my Ender3 v2 everything just push fits (might need gentle banging to get lullies on shaft, but then you don't need any other locking device)
