Turbo
Description
The design is originally from a project. The "turbine" is driven by a drone motor currently (about 8.5mm diameter) it gets to hot right now to be sustainable for long term use and makes a lot of noise. Version 1 is not really a proper compressor and I wouldn't recommend it however that one I can guarantee the parts will fit together and it does move air. Version 2 is a bit more advanced and adheres more to a proper turbo, however tolerancing it exceeding tight (if nonexistent). Its mainly designed for Resin printing but I have been using an FDM and Cura as resin is expensive. [PARTS LIST] [V 2.2]: Motor: https://www.amazon.com/WORKER-Motor-Bearing-Stryfe-Rapidstrike/dp/B07SDBB7YM/ref=sr_1_32?dchild=1&keywords=High+efficiency+high+rpm+motor&qid=1613524456&sr=8-32 Power: I am currently using a 9 Volt battery to power it, Fasteners: I am unable to find the correct fasteners online, I'm really not sure, If you plan on building take it to the hardware store and find what you need, I would recommend flat heads for the bolts that hold in the motor, ALSO MAKE SURE THE SCREW LENGTH IS NO MORE 5.5mm you will damage the engine. [V 1-2.1]: Motor (8.5mm by 20 mm drone motor) : https://www.amazon.com/Makerfire-8-5x20mm-Connector-Coreless-Quadcopter/dp/B07CQGHYW8 Batteries: I used three AAA to power the motor, really its up to you how you power it I'm simply using batteries for testing.
