Presto dehydrator horizontal spool holder
Description
I remixed amoose136's '608 horizontal spool holder' for my Presto 06301 dehydrator, cutting a ring in the underside of the base to grab the raised rim at the center of the tray to stay centered. Check the size of your tray vs the cut before printing, the cut is: Inner diameter: 49mm; Outer diameter: 55mm; Height: 4.20mm If you need to, drill out the bolt holes with a 8mm or letter P drill bit. Three M8-1.25x30mm to 40mm will work, and three M8-1.25 nuts. You'll need four 608zz ball bearings. Seat the center one with a block of wood larger than the bearing's outer diameter and a hammer, do not hit the bearing center directly. Do not use PLA if you're going to dry nylons at any point in the future, it will turn goopy and not work well. I used PETG.
